WII IS ON FIRE!

By now, most people have heard the news that the Wii video game console will soon be offering the classic NBA Jam. Known for it's two-on-two action, the simplistic game was a must play in the 90's. So I've seen alot of people's "wish list" of two player teams they would want to see today. And while Dwight Howard and Vince Carter is a awesome thought, how about this: take one player from the present team and pair them with a player from the past? Here is my take:

ATLANTIC DIVISION

New York Knicks
Patrick Ewing / Nate Robinson

New Jersey Nets
Jason Kidd / Brook Lopez

Philadelphia 76ers
Julius Erving / Allen Iverson

Boston Celtics
Larry Bird / Paul Pierce

Toronto Raptors
Vince Carter / Chris Bosh

CENTRAL DIVISION

Milwaukee Bucks
Oscar Robertson / Brandon Jennings

Chicago Bulls
Michael Jordan / Derrick Rose

Cleveland Cavaliers
Mark Price / LeBron James

Detroit Pistons
Isiah Thomas / Ben Wallace

Indiana Pacers
Reggie Miller / Danny Granger

SOUTHEAST DIVISION

Orlando Magic
Tracy McGrady / Dwight Howard

Miami Heat
Alonzo Mourning / Dwyane Wade

Washington Wizards
Earl Monroe / Gilbert Arenas

Charlotte Bobcats
Emeka Okafor / Gerald Wallace

Atlanta Hawks
Dominique Wilkins / Josh Smith

NORTHWEST DIVISION

Denver Nuggets
Alex English / Carmelo Anthony

Utah Jazz
Karl Malone / Deron Williams

Minnesota Timberwolves
Kevin Garnett / Johnny Flynn

Portland Trail Blazers
Clyde Drexler/ Brandon Roy

Oklahoma City Thunder
Shawn Kemp / Kevin Durant

PACIFIC DIVISION

Los Angeles Lakers
Magic Johnson / Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles Clippers
Adrian Dantley / Blake Griffin

Phoenix Suns
Charles Barkley / Steve Nash

Golden State Warriors
Wilt Chamberlain / Monta Ellis

Sacramento Kings
Chris Webber/ Tyreke Evans

SOUTHWEST DIVISION

Houston Rockets
Steve Francis / Yao Ming

San Antonio Spurs
David Robinson / Tony Parker

Dallas Mavericks
Nick Van Exel / Dirk Nowitzki

New Orleans Hornets
Larry Johnson / Chris Paul

Memphis Grizzlies
Pau Gasol / Rudy Gay

Past / Present

No player can be on two teams.

Few Notes: Allen Iverson coming back to the Sixers made this choice much easier instead it would have been AI and the other AI.... Sorry Raptor fans, Vince is the greatest player in your history.... The Bucks might be a tad small, but I couldn't resist adding The Big O.... Yes, Ben Wallace is not the best player on today's Pistons, but I needed a bigger lineup than Rip Hamilton and Thomas.... Indiana might be the most boring team to play with, nothing against either player, but still.... It was between Penny Hardaway and T-Mac, I went with T-Mac.... Atlanta might be the best dunking duo ever PERIOD.... I went with the Mailman instead of Stockton, I would rather take Williams/ Malone, than Stockton/ Boozer.... I seriously would like to play as the Lakers....
